Zeke vs. The Dust Devil (Western Fantasy)

Zeke Cummings pulled his cowboy hat down low against the sun and urged his horse forward. The mustang’s hooves kicked up dull, pinkish dust. A barren landscape stretched before him, broken only by the occasional butte or patch of tough, stunted sagebrush and a few desert fairies flitting here and there.
